Growth is Always Possible

“Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one.”

—Marianne Williamson.

What brought me to be both a counselor and art therapist? My desire to be a partner in affecting change and redirection for my clients who sense that something needs to shift in their lives, to help my clients move forward and progress, and move past the barriers that hold them back. My goal as a licensed professional counselor and art therapist is to help people find the balance in their lives, reach their full personal potential, ( which can also positively effect those around them), and find their creativity and use it as an outlet for personal growth.

My background in both verbal counseling and art therapy gives me a distinct advantage to be flexible to meet my clients’ needs. Also, having training in other useful modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) give us another tool to work together to resolve past traumas, remove creative blocks, and find equilibrium and balance. I have had experience working with many different age groups, with concentration on working with children and families, adults facing past histories of trauma, and senior citizens and their families facing terminal illness or cognitive loss. I am honored to be a partner with my clients in their journey of self discovery and finding equilibrium.
